Health Coaches are key to improving health and lowering healthcare costs.
In the U.S. alone, $4 trillion will be spent on healthcare just this year.
- Only 2% goes towards prevention.
And yet all of this is preventable:
- Obesity: Over 1/3 (34.9%) of U.S. adults are obese.
- Diabetes: More than 29 million people in the U.S. have diabetes.
- Sleep: 40% of Americans are sleep deprived.
Health Coaches work with their clients and shift them away from unhealthy habits to sustainable ones for lasting health.
The current U.S. health care system is not sustainable and Health Coaches are working alongside other practitioners to rectify our current healthcare crisis.
